Refrigerators use a water filter to produce clean water and ice. The LG LT700P filter traps and removes a variety of impurities that might be in the local water supply. It meets NSF International Standard 42 and 53 for the reduction of chemicals, minerals, dirt, cysts, particulates and other contaminants. The filter dispenses water at a flow rate of half a gallon per minute. To receive up to 200 gallons of clean water, replace the filter once every six months or sooner if the flow rate or water quality decreases. OEM product filter dimensions 6-7/8" L X 1-3/4" diameter reduces chlorine, cysts, sediment, rust, turbidity, particulates and other contaminants tested against NSF International Standards 42 and 53 accommodates 25 - 125 PSI and 33 - 100 F filters up to 200 gallons of water dispenses water at 0.5 GPM replace every 6 months
